Be a part of the Nature Nut Club today from 9:30 to 11:30am! Forget watching cartoons, the ultimate playground awaits you at the North River Wildlife Sanctuary. If you're a nature nut, you’ll love some real adventure in the outdoors. There's a lot to play with in nature, with even more magic waiting to be discovered along the way. You’ll hit the trails, explore the brook, "muck around" in the woods, build a fort, hunt for bugs, follow animal tracks - you get the picture. Check out “Snow Fairies” today from 1 to 2:30pm at the South Shore Natural Science Center in Norwell. Fairies are out in all kinds of weather. Come in costume and make little snow fairies to take home. There will be snow cakes and juice, and learn about the woods where fairies live. Pre-registration required. It’s “Legos at the Library” today at 2:30pm at the Plymouth Public Library. Each month a new theme will inspire Lego creations; this month’s theme is “Wind”. Participants will be given ample time to plan and build using the library’s Lego collection. The Library will provide the Lego’s, kids just bring their imagination. Pictures will be taken of all the creations and then put on display. Legos will remain at the library. This event is for ages 8yrs & up.
