Massachusetts: House Speaker proposes slots, 2 casinos for state
House Speaker Robert DeLeo has proposed allowing two casinos to operate in Massachusetts and "a limited number" of slot machines at the state's four dog and horse tracks. DeLeo unveiled the plan Thursday during a speech to the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. He says putting slots at venues that already have gambling will provide "a more immediate form of revenue."
