Hingham: Approval of school budget vote expected tonight

The Hingham Board of Selectmen plan to cast a vote Thursday night on the School Committee's reccommended budget.

The School Committee voted this week to recommend a level funded budget for fiscal 2011 - the budget the board will vote on stands at $35 million.

Also on the agenda, Selectmen plan to discuss a town meeting article that would reduce the community preservation surcharge, and an article that would insitute a naming of public buildings bylaw.

Selectmen meet Thursday at 7 p.m. at town hall.
