Plymouth: 1820 Courthouse Consortium meets Thursday nightThe 1820 Courthouse consortium was created by the town of Chairman of the Dean Rizzo says they have been meeting weekly and bi-weekly since then: "Working diligently on short-term and long-term goals and objectives for the 1820 Courthouse property as well as the corridor," said Chairman Dean Rizzo. "[The Corridor] is an approximately 3 ½ acre site that we feel as a consortium and the town is a great potential for redevelopment that would hopefully drive an economic stimulus for the downtown Plymouth area." Rizzo says they have been reviewing past plans for the corridor and have a list of long and short-term goals. The list of repairs that they are currently engaged in for the courthouse itself include a contract signed to remove old oil tanks from the grounds around the courthouse, asbestos management, roof repairs, facade improvements, and repairs to the exterior. The group is also developing a long term strategic plan for the entire corridor. The consortium meets Thursday at
