11/19/09 Duxbury: Local man living in CT arrested on armed robbery charges
A former Duxbury man, 26-year-old Jesse Lee Dinius was living in Stamford, CT when police say he was arrested moments before he tried to hold up a bank in the city.
Authorities believe Dinius robbed a bank in early October and in September.
The Stamford Advocate reports- Dinius who graduated from Duxbury High School was arrested Tuesday on felony attempted robbery charges.
The paper reports, a plainclothes officer stopped him in front of a bank just before closing.
Dinius allegedly had a fake handgun in his waistband and a handwritten note with a demand on it just minutes before the banks 4 p.m. closing.
Dinius was arraigned Wednesday morning at a state Superior Court in Stamford, CT.
