After a long months work, a drug bust and an arrest made by Kingston Police officers assigned to the O.C.P.A.C, the old Colony Anti-Crime Unit.
Late Thursday afternoon at the Independence Mall in Kingston, police executed a search warrant, and attempted to arrest a 29-year-old East Boston man, Jose Serrano.
Police say as they moved into search him and his green Dodge Caravan, at the mall, Serrano ingested cocaine that he allegedly had in his possession.
Serrano was taken to Jordan Hospital where 12 bags of cocaine were retrieved.
Serrano was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.
Serrano was arraigned on Friday in Plymouth District Court.
