11/8/09 Kingston: Police nab suspect in rash of robberies
Kingston police nab a suspect wanted in a string of robberies from New Hampshire to the South Shore.
Officers were called to the Bank of America on Summer St. on a report of a woman attempting to cash a stolen check. They arrested 25-year-old Stephanie Jones of Hingham, who's facing a slew of charges including forgery and receiving stolen property. A search of Jones' car uncovered several stolen items including pocketbooks, cameras, credit cards, cell phones, and clothes. Some of the items were taken in a series of car break-ins in Hingham over the past couple of weeks. The stolen property also belongs to residents of Kingston, Quincy, Halifax, Pembroke, and Hillsboro, New Hampshire.
Jones was arraigned in Plymouth District Court on Friday.
